What does the speaking test consist of?
The speaking test has three assessed parts: an interview (about 2-3 minutes), a short talk (about 3-4 minutes including up to one minute of preparation), and a discussion (about 3-4 minutes).
How is the speaking test marked?
The speaking test is marked on four criteria, each out of 10: grammar, vocabulary, development, and pronunciation, 40 marks in total. The result is separately endorsed and does not count towards the written grade.
